Grand Sapphire Hotel & Banqueting

My only issue is the bed! So hard, basic and very uncomfortable! They need to replace the hard mattresses!! I also had a fall because one of the “entrances” from the pavement has a slight raised lips to the “courtyard” and I tripped and fell! There needs to be white or yellow paint to highlight this lip! I badly bruised my knee and elbow but the guys on reception provided me with ice and bandages!! I survived!!! I’m not a youngster (in my 70s) and I could easily have broken a bone or even had concussion it was sheer luck my bag and hoodie broke my fall!!

Have stayed before, but not for a few Years and have always thought the hotel is nice and conveniently located, the complimentary breakfast has always been a nice touch and of good quality. Hotel is clean and good in room facilities.

Breakfast was very good and in a beautiful room. Plenty of parking, friendly and helpful staff. Room size was reasonable for price. Nice en-suite bathroom. WiFi good. You can order dinner from a simple menu that is low price. Helpful if you don’t feel like going out. If you order the Asian food, it’s a bit on the spicy side.

Breakfast was very good. The location was close enough to public transportation. The restaurant menu food was delicious and the price was right. The staff were friendly, and my problem with the air-conditioner cooling was rectified immediately with a room change. Now, that's excellent service.

Location suited us well. Very good value for money, Although not entirely clear from the booking information there was a pretty good complimentary buffet breakfast. There is no restaurant but you can order a basic takeaway curry or pizza in the evening and the hotel will provide cutlery to eat in your room - we tried this the second night and found the curry very tasty.
